The Problem
Guardian Bikes was scaling production faster than their internal team could design and validate the tooling needed to keep the line moving. They needed engineering capacity that could plug in immediately without the ramp-up of a new hire.
Our Approach
Rather than a one-off project, Novien embedded as an integrated extension of Guardian's engineering team, working alongside their staff to understand the production line, prioritize bottlenecks, and turn requirements around quickly.
The Solution
We designed many of the custom tooling, assembly fixtures, and check tools that keep production precise and repeatable, fixtures that locate parts consistently and check tools that catch out-of-spec components before they reach assembly.
The Impact
Guardian gained a reliable, on-demand engineering partner, improving line consistency, reducing rework, and freeing up internal resources.
Current Status
The engagement is ongoing. Novien continues to provide manufacturing support as Guardian Bikes scales.
